After completing my Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta in 2014, I have been honoured to work with humans and animals for over a decade. My latest venture, is the launch of D I R T Physio, a hyper-niche physio clinic specializing in assessment and treatment of equestrians, and the animals they love.

I also have worked at The Canine Fitness & Care Centre for over 10 years, treating canines with many different issues, specifically post op care, conservative management and high performance.

In May 2021 I won 1 of 100 Canadian Physiotherapy Associations medals of distinction. This was awarded to 100 of 25,000 physiotherapists across Canada for “innovation in practice” related to helping athletes in the saddle. This was also in part due to my volunteer time as the Canadian Physiotherapy Association's Animal Rehabilitation's Division Chair, and Knowledge Translation Rep - as well as sitting on the executive of the International Association of Physical Therapists in Animal Practice as the Secretary.

From 2007-2020 I previously held my NCCP Equestrian Canada English Competition Coach to help patients develope their bodies understanding of the discipline of dressage through riding lessons. I have had the honour of showing internationally up to the Grand Prix Level of Dressage, and Third Level of Western Dressage at the World Western Dressage Championships.

Recent personal riding endeavours 2024-2025 include Working Equitation, and Reining.

I truly enjoy all disciplines within the equestrian world.

My latest physiotherapy endeavour has been completing the exam for the ability to order diagnostic imaging in Alberta as of June 2025, which includes public Xray and U/S, along with private MRI's.  I work in close relation with a radiologist at EFW and 2 radiologists at CDC.
